WNBA Teams Shoot for AIDS Awareness
The Minnesota Lynx and Washington Mystics will partner with Until There’s A Cure® Foundation (UTAC) to promote HIV/AIDS awareness. The August 1st Minnesota Lynx vs. Phoenix Mercury game will draw attention to Minnesota children affected by AIDS through pre- and post-game programming, information booths, and photo ops with Lynx star Candice Wiggins. The August 16th Washington Mystics vs. New York Liberty game will feature a pre-game health fair and panel discussion, and in-game public service announcements.

Grad Party for AIDS: One Person Can Make A Difference
High school graduation is a rite of passage. For most, it's the first step from the shelter of youth to the responsibility of adulthood. It brings family and friends together in joyous celebration, often with a bounty of gifts in tow. Katy Kruse of Glen Ridge, NJ chose to make her first step count for something more than a mark of personal achievement. She hosted a benefit for Until There's A Cure® Foundation (UTAC).

UTAC Attends Key Meetings in NYC
The Gay Men's Health Crisis recognized UTAC and others at a June 15th gala: "Members of our Friends for Life group are the true backbone of our support. Their donations give us the ability to keep our clients healthy." UTAC also participated in the 2009 US Fund For UNICEF annual meeting at NYC's Desmond Tutu Center. The meeting focused on strategies to prevent 25,000 children from dying every day of preventable diseases.
