Until There's A Cure Foundation
is a nonprofit organization that raises funds and awareness about HIV/AIDS
through the sale of The Bracelet. All proceeds fund prevention education,
care services and vaccine development.

 

Board of Directors

Donna Allen Donna Allen began volunteering with UTAC in 1994 upon her retirement as an insurance executive. The loss of her brother to complications from AIDS gave her a strong, personal desire to participate in the Foundation's work. She was elected to the Board in 1997 and is serving as its President. Donna is also on the Board of Project Redwood, a social venture fund. She has a BS in education from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Stanford University.
Jeff Cleary Jeff Cleary is a San Francisco Bay Area native who served four years as UTAC's Executive Director. He has held positions with Del Monte Foods, Galoob Toys, The 3DO Company, and Wild Planet as its Senior Vice President of Marketing. Jeff earned his BA in broadcasting and MBA in marketing from San Francisco State University.
Michael Collopy Michael Collopy is an internationally renowned portrait photographer who has photographed world leaders and public figures throughout his career. His published collections include Works of Love Are Works of Peace with Mother Teresa (1996) and Architects of Peace (2001). Michael donates his time and talents photographing celebrities for UTAC's iconic public service advertising campaign.
Honor Huntington Honor Huntington is head of the audit committee for the UTAC Board. She has held CFO and Controller positions with several high tech companies. She worked for Arthur Anderson as a management consultant and a manager specializing in financial and operations analysis. Honor earned her AB in government at Cornell University and MA in Latin American studies at the University of Texas.
David Landay David Landay is the founding director of www.SurvivorshipAtoZ.org, an online resource for people living with HIV and other life changing conditions. He was a founder of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and a Board member for the National AIDS Fund and the National Association of People With AIDS. David is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Harvard Law School. He is a former partner in the law firm of Landay and Miller and the former President of Williamsburg Life Insurance Company.
Helen Miramontes Helen Miramontes received her BA and MS in nursing from the University of California, San Francisco and has devoted her life to education about, and treatment of, HIV/AIDS. She served on the President’s HIV/AIDS Advisory Board during the Clinton Administration. Upon her retirement in 2000 as Clinical Professor, Department of Community Health Systems, UCSF School of Nursing, she remained active in support of AIDS vaccine development and HIV/AIDS training for health care providers. Her work honors her son, Jonathan, who succumbed to the disease in 2006.
Kathleen Scutchfield Kathleen Scutchfield co-founded Until There’s A Cure Foundation with Dana Cappiello in 1993. She served as President for its first five years and currently holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer for the Board. Kathleen attended Sarah Lawrence College and Yale University and earned her degree in Fine Arts. She is a Board Member Emeritus of the San Francisco Ballet and former National Committee Member of the Whitney Museum of American Art. She has also served on the Planning Commission of the Town of Woodside (CA).
